A season for Everything under the Sun

A season to be carried

A season to rest

A season to laugh

A season to to refrain

A season to discover

A season to reap

A season to cuddle

A season to HATE MY HAIR these days....

At small group this Thursday i was encouraged.....
Reminded that there is "A Season for every activity under the sun...that GOD makes all things BEAUTIFUL in its time"..Reminded that even the darker adjectives used in that verse (Ecclesiastes 3) such as a time to "Die"....a time to "mourn", a time to "refrain" etc. etc. carry certain beauty.
Like when leaves turn brilliant colors when they DIE in the Fall...( There is beauty).

i love our small group from Church..its a complete gift from GOD during this season..
We've committed to walk with these friends for 2 years now...
Understanding that "community is messy" as our pastor says...
but its beautiful and worth it....
This group has been through a lot....each individual couple gone through seasons...
and we've all pissed each other off at some point and still committed to keep walking together...keep struggling together, laugh and share together. I dont have pictures of all the "seasons" i feel. I feel a season of loneliness too....dont really know why in the midst of SO much good community.in the midst of family. i kinda think on this side of heaven we will always feel a tinge of loneliness to remind us this isnt home.....
But even in the loneliness.....it beckons me to create and seek ( and there is beauty in that)....

I love your pondering. I feel like I'm watching your kids grow up on your blog when you all live 2 minutes away! Beautiful Mann babies.

Hey love, I echo your thoughts here and love your reflections on the seasons we're all experiencing. So glad we are walking through it all together. Love you so much.

Your post touched me because just today I told Katherine "i feel lonely". Cannot even put my finger on it but I feel like I am all alone and it makes me feel very tired. Thanks for being honest.
