well.....the morning began with cheese eggs for me and bennett. They were yummy but those eggs are so hard to get off the pan. So i decided to fill the sink with water to soak the pan. Yep, and then simply forgot about the RUNNING WATER and took a shower. Guess the sound of flooding sink water sounded similar to me taking a shower to kevin. As i mopped up the kitchen i wondered if this was how the day was gonna go.....
today i was scheduled to spend LOT of money and begin recording a second music project with an amazing producer i admire, and write music with a friend, and my family is coming in town tomorrow to take care of Bennett, and Kevin is getting off work to help and play instruments,...and my grandma is flying in to visit too and i have to get groceries, and its my birthday on Thursday, and i'm a little stressed OUT!!!!
but today fell into a rhythm and a pattern that felt like home...i was pleased with how today went after the great flood, and feel freedom to rest and retreat into what i know im supposed to do this week ...create alongside the Creator. ( that may sound corny...but its how i feel) Im not sure how it will turn out....but i hope good...and if not...oh well ya know? its just lots of money for a fun hobby i guess. YIKES. anyway these are just my thoughts being poured out like overflowing kitchen sink water .........

It's not just a hobby my sweet and gifted friend. You create because you were made to create! And what you create brings joy to others and to the heart of your Father! How can it not? He rejoices in your songs. I'm so glad you get a chance to do that this week, surrounded by family and love. Happy Birthday early by the way! I totally agree w/ the comment above...you WERE made to do this. I can hardly wait to hear the beautiful songs you're going to record! I'll be thinking about you & praying you enjoy this process (remember too) and at the end of this week you have a project in your hands that you're so proud of. I KNOW it will already be amazing...because YOU are! Your voice has something to say...something that the Lord has placed on your heart and I can't wait to hear what's been brewing in that soul of yours...love you!

Can I just tell you what is great about days like this, you remember them! Life is passing right by us and when something like the "great flood" happens, we stop and listen to the day. So happy to see that you guys are doing great.
